State Bureau, Jagran, Kolkata. BJP has officially sounded the election bugle in Bengal. The party is officially starting its election campaign in the state from Friday, December 5.

In a press conference on Thursday, BJP leader and former state president Rahul Sinha said that first 13,000 rallies will be held across the state.

After that, public meetings will be held at the Assembly and Central levels in the presence of the state and central leadership. These include at least seven more public meetings of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The first meeting is scheduled to be held on December 20 at Ranaghat in Nadia.

Along with this, national level leaders including Home Minister Amit Shah and Defense Minister Rajnath Singh will also be present. This is the first time that BJP is starting its campaign in the state so before the elections.

Sinha said that first of all road shows will be organized at the Shakti Kendra level. A power center of BJP is formed by combining five to seven booths.

These road shows will be organized at about 13,000 Shakti Kendras in the state. Rahul said that 1,300 of these road shows are being held on Friday.

That means there will be a road show in almost every division on Friday. These will be held between 5 pm and 7 pm. The party is going to start public meetings in every assembly constituency from January 15.
