Jagran correspondent, Lucknow. A case of mental harassment and blackmailing of an administrative officer of Uttar Pradesh Housing Development Council by misusing Artificial Intelligence (AI) has come to light. Victim Nripendra Bahadur Singh has lodged a named report at Ghazipur police station.
Nripendra Bahadur Singh, resident of Indiranagar Sector-14, said that he was posted as Property Manager Officer in the Property Manager Office in Ghaziabad from 25 June 2024 to 22 August 2025.
It is alleged that the genuine photographs and material of the victim were tampered with and circulated on the internet media in a misleading manner.
The misleading pictures and content were uploaded on a WhatsApp group on December 11, claiming them to be real and authentic. False information was made public by distortion.
Rajveer Singh and Deepak Chaudhary have been made accused in the case. On the basis of the complaint, the police have registered a report under IT Act, intimidation and other sections and started investigation.
