Jagran Team, Giddarbaha, Doda (Muktsar). The old dispute over skin making in Kotha Dashmesh Nagar of Kotbhai village of Giddarbaha turned bloody when two persons were killed during a clash between two groups. The incident occurred late Friday evening at around 8 pm. After which there is an atmosphere of panic in the area.

According to the information received, the deceased have been identified as Baljeet Singh and Nirmal Singh. Both were taken to a private hospital in Giddarbaha in critical condition, where doctors declared them dead.

It is being told that there was a dispute going on for a long time regarding making pucca skin in the land. There was already a paved skin in front of the houses, but an attempt to build a new skin at the same spot was being opposed by one party.

During this protest, tension between the two sides increased and the matter reached a bloody clash, in which two people lost their lives. As soon as information about the incident was received, the police reached the spot and started investigating the matter.

DSP Giddarbaha Arun Mundan said that two persons have died in a bloody clash between two groups over a skin dispute. He said that the weapon used to cause the death is being investigated and further legal action is being taken.
