Two people died on the spot, while two villagers were seriously injured in a violent clash over a land dispute at around 12 o'clock on Sunday night in Gendra village of Kunda police station area of Chatra district in Jharkhand. After the incident, there is an atmosphere of panic in the entire village. As soon as the information was received, Kunda police station reached the spot and started bringing the situation under control.
According to the information, the old dispute regarding land suddenly took a violent turn on Sunday night. During this time there was a fierce clash between the two groups. Two people died on the spot in the violent clash. One of the deceased has been identified as Devendra Ganjhu, while the other deceased has been identified as Churaman Ganjhu.
According to police sources, both the deceased are said to be criminals, although the process of official confirmation in this regard is going on. During the clash in the incident, two people from the village, Gopal Ganjhu and Shyam Ganjhu were injured. Both have been admitted to the nearest health center for treatment, where their condition is being monitored by doctors.
Villagers say that this sudden incident that happened late at night created chaos in the village and people were forced to hide in their homes. As soon as information about the incident was received, Kunda police station immediately reached the spot and cordoned off the entire area and secured it.
The police have taken possession of the dead bodies and have started preparations for post-mortem. Also, the reasons for the incident are being thoroughly investigated. Police officials say that all aspects of the land dispute are being investigated and strict action will be taken against the culprits.
