Jagran correspondent, Sitamarhi. Bagmati River Bridge: The way has been cleared for the construction of the much awaited bridge connecting Akhta and Khodi Pakad Ghats of Bagmati River. On the instructions of the Chief Minister, the Road Construction Department has sent the amount of state share under the Central Roads and Infrastructure item to the Central Government. Bridge construction work will be started on both the ghats soon with the cooperation of the Central Government.

This information was given by Shivhar MP Lovely Anand during a program organized in Akhta of Suppi block on Friday. As soon as the construction of the bridge was announced, a wave of happiness ran in the area. The local villagers celebrated by playing drums and bugles and welcomed MP Lovely Anand and former MP Anand Mohan by giving them body clothes.

MP Lovely Anand said that she has been continuously trying to fulfill her election promises, the results of which are now visible on the ground. Riga Sugar Mill started operating, farmers got dues payment and Sitamarhi–Sheohar–Bapudham Motihari Railway Project started.

Former MP Anand Mohan said that after 77 years of independence, the dream of building a bridge on the Bagmati river is going to come true. Hundreds of people have contributed to this struggle. The construction of the bridge will ensure all-round development of the area.

Referring to the construction of Punaura Dham temple, he said that with the joint efforts of the Chief Minister and the Prime Minister, the foundation of a grand Janaki temple has been laid in Punaura Dham on the lines of Ayodhya, whose construction work is targeted to be completed by the year 2029.

Rajnandan Gandhi, Nandlal Singh, Mohd. were present in the program. A large number of dignitaries and local villagers including Ale Ahmed, Pappu Singh, Mukesh Bhushan Singh, Sudhir Rampuri, Dr. Amarnath Mukhiya, Manoj Singh were present.
