A large number of these women are preparing various products including spices, food items, Kanha clothes, decorative items, but they are not able to get a platform to sell those products. The budget also includes a plan to set up She-Mart to sell products manufactured by rural women. If a mart is built then women will get great relief.
Under the National Rural Livelihood Mission, self-help groups are being formed to make women self-reliant and self-reliant. Till now there are 2280 groups in rural areas in the district. At least 10 women are associated with each group. Under this scheme, along with training these women in various schemes, loans are also being provided. Women are preparing various products, but the biggest problem women face is in selling those products.
People are not able to know about their products. She-(Self-Help Entrepreneur) Marts will be started to further promote the industries of rural women. With this, the women of the district hope to become a Mart. Here he will be able to sell his products easily. Anjali Sharma, associated with the self-help group, said that it is commendable to take into account the women of rural areas in the budget, but only if the plan is implemented on the ground, we will be able to move forward.
Will not be limited to just making products
Women are considering this as a big step towards moving forward. Marts will be developed as rural women-led enterprises, where women can sell their own products. Women should not be limited to just production but should be directly connected to the market, so that they can become real owners of their business.
