Buffalo collides with BMW car on the highway, life saved due to airbag opening
Jagran Correspondent, Shamli: A buffalo collided with the BMW car of a pilot who was going to Haridwar with his family from Dwarka Puri in Delhi on the Panipat-Khatima highway. The collision was so strong that all the airbags of the car opened, saving the lives of the family. However, the buffalo died on the spot.
Delhi resident Ankit Gupta is a pilot. On Friday, he was going to Haridwar by car via Panipat-Khatima Highway with his wife Shweta, two-year-old son Vedansh and child's caretaker Sanjana. When his car reached between Balwa-Simbhalka bypass at around five in the evening, a buffalo suddenly came out of a field and came in front of the car. Due to the collision, all the airbags of the car opened. Due to this, no one present in the vehicle was hurt, but the buffalo died. Kotwali police arrived, but the car occupants left without taking any action. The front part of the car has also been damaged in the accident.
