Some people visited different cultures of the world while others prepared reels for their social media accounts. When the temperature increased, children and youth resorted to ice cream and snow balls to get relief. Chaupal was also completely filled with spectators.
People sitting in the audience gallery stood up and encouraged the artists performing at the Chaupal. With the increasing crowd, business also seemed to be climbing higher.
According to the Tourism Department, the business has reached close to Rs 1.25 crore in the last six days. From Saturday, more crowd will be seen at the artisan stalls. Due to which business will also increase.
Artists from different states performed at both the Chaupals.
Artists from different states and countries presented singing, playing and dancing at both the Chaupals. Artists from Uttar Pradesh and Meghalaya presented folk dances at the main Chaupal. Artists from many countries including Jordan, Kazakhstan, Egypt, Iraq, Botswana, Comoros, Ghana, Haryana, Cabo Verde gave cultural presentations.
At the same time, the cultural presentations of regional artists at Chhoti Chowpali entertained the tourists a lot. Punjabi Tappa forced the tourists to dance. After this, ancient Haryana was identified with the colors of Haryanvi Ragini.
Artists are welcoming tourists in their folk style
In the Surajkund fair, artists from Haryana and other states are also entertaining the tourists with their folk style. In the fair, folk artists in traditional costumes are welcoming the audience by playing traditional musical instruments.
The sound of the musical instruments of these artists is so melodious that tourists are not able to stop themselves from dancing. In the fair, not only young men and women but also foreign tourists are seen dancing to the beats of Deru, bagpiper and drum.
At various places in the fair premises, such cultural groups dressed in traditional costumes are entertaining the people a lot. The aroma of indigenous products, echo of folk music and glimpse of ancient culture are attracting the visitors in the fair premises, while in this fair, Bean, Nagara party artists from the folk culture of Haryana are giving a warm welcome to the tourists.
Children won in competitions
Extempore and RJ competitions were organized in the theater of the fair. In the senior category, Suryanshi Mishra of Takshashila Model School stood first, Ridham Dogra of Saraswati Global School stood second and Bhav Moolchandani of KL Mehta Dayanand Public School stood third.

In the junior category, Vedashree of Raval International School, Kashish of Raval Bal Shiksha Kendra and Arna Kalra of Dynasty International School secured first, second and third position.
In the senior category of RJ competition, Bhav Moolchandani of KL Mehta Dayanand Public School stood first, Anchal of Murari Lal Senior Secondary stood second and Ajsha of Alfaiz Modern School stood third.
