Businessman Kidnapped By Car Riders In Agra, Rs 1.20 Lakh Transferred

Jagran correspondent, Agra. A saree businessman from Mumbai was kidnapped by miscreants in a car in broad daylight from Rambagh intersection. After beating them all the way, the miscreants took them to Sadabad. The businessman was stripped of his clothes and beaten.

Along with looting the money kept in the pocket, Rs 1.20 lakh was transferred to the bank account. Left after this. The businessman along with officials of the trade board lodged a complaint at Etmaddoula police station on Wednesday night. Police are scanning the footage of CCTV cameras.

Came to Agra on Tuesday in connection with business

Satish Aggarwal, resident of Bhayandar West Sangam Apartment, Mumbai, is a saree businessman. He supplies sarees to the traders of Agra. He came to Agra on Tuesday in connection with business. Stayed at Krishna Hotel located in Daresi.

According to the victim, he had come to Rambagh intersection around 2 pm on Wednesday afternoon on the call of an acquaintance. Here two miscreants traveling in a blue car forcibly pulled him into the car. On the way, four more miscreants boarded the car. He was beaten all the way. The miscreants took him to a deserted place in Sadabad, made him remove his clothes and beat him.

The miscreants demanded money from the businessman by showing him a gun.

The money kept in his pocket was snatched away and he was also asked to transfer the money from his mobile. Due to lack of balance in the account, the miscreants showed their gun and asked for money. Seeing the danger to his life, the victim businessman called his acquaintance and got Rs 1.20 lakh transferred. The businessman says that the miscreants in the car fled away leaving him in Sadabad in a semi-nude state.

The victim reached Agra and informed the officials of the trade board. After this, he reached Etmaddoula police station on Wednesday night and complained to the police. ACP Sheshmani Upadhyay said that the complaint has been received. The case is being investigated. CCTV footage is being examined to identify the car occupants.

Why did the miscreants ask for only Rs 1.25 lakh?

When the miscreants asked for money from the businessman, how could he accept only Rs 1 lakh 20 thousand? This indicates that there is some other issue related to the businessman's story.
