After voting, Bhagwat said that elections are an essential part of democracy and hence it is the responsibility of all citizens to vote.
Keeping public interest in mind, everyone should vote only for a qualified candidate during elections. So, the first thing I did today was vote.
Speaking on the NOTA option, he said that NOTA means you reject everyone and by doing so we promote a person whom no one wants.
He further said that NOTA gives an option to the people to express their disagreement but it is better to vote for someone than not to vote for anyone.

Former RSS Sar Karyavah and Central Committee member Bhaiyyaji Joshi was also among the early voters. He stressed the importance of voting in elections.
Bhaiyyaji Joshi said that in a democracy, governments are formed by mandate, which is often expressed through elections where citizens vote for their representatives.
We want everyone to use their franchise in democracy. In a democracy, the government is formed by mandate and it is expected that the elected government should fulfill the expectations of the people.
