Communication Associate, Gajraula (Amroha). The Income Tax Department team reached Ananda Dairy located in the city for survey. After entering the dairy premises, the team closed the gates and took possession of mobile phones and important documents of all the employees. Although a crowd of people had gathered outside the dairy as soon as the team was informed of its arrival, it was later dispersed by the police personnel accompanying the team. The team was busy investigating till late night.
There is an Ananda Dairy plant in Bhanpur locality along the highway in the city. At around 7 am on Thursday morning, Income Tax Department officials and employees in eight vehicles reached the gate and entered inside. After the vehicles went inside, the officials closed the gates. At first no one outside got information about this.
But after the end of the shift, around 8 o'clock when the team was sent out to search the workers working there, people came to know about it. On receiving the information, a crowd of people gathered outside the dairy plant. The personnel coming out said that the team included about 30 to 35 officers-employees. They took over all the units of the plant, including the accounting department.
The mobile phones of the officers and employees working there were also confiscated and kept at one place. During this action, the workers working there were not stopped from coming and going. Rather, they were allowed to come and go only after being searched. This action caused an uproar. During the raid, security forces personnel were also deployed in the company premises. Till late night the team was busy in survey and the situation could not be clarified.
There is no information regarding the action of the Income Tax Department or any other team in the city's firm. No information has been received at the police station in this regard.
