Jagran correspondent, Shravasti. Public service centers opened in Gram Panchayats to provide online services to the citizens near their homes have also been entrusted with the responsibility of creating Farmer ID under the Agristack scheme. A target has been set for this. Notices have been issued to 216 CSC operators who did not meet the target, warning them to cancel the allotment.

ADM Amarendra Kumar Verma said that under the important Agristack scheme of the government, instructions have been given to make farmer ID of all the landholding farmers of the district. A campaign is being run for those farmers whose Farmer ID has not been made. The DM has given a target to all public service centers to make minimum 10 farmer IDs every day.

CSC e-Governance Services India Limited has provided progress information of a total of 267 CSCs through e-mail from January 1 to 23. According to this, less than five farmers have been registered for Farmer ID by 216 centers in the stipulated period.

This is extremely disappointing. Notice has been issued to the centers to improve the work. It has been asked to ensure progress in seven days. Cancellation of allotment of centers that do not improve will be considered as per rules.
