Jagran correspondent, Arwal. Higher education will be accessible even in rural areas. The government has announced this in the budget. Now two more degree colleges will open in the district. Due to which now degree colleges will also be started in Arwal and Sonbhadra Banshi blocks of the district.
There are already 4 degree colleges in the district. In which there are government colleges in Lari of Kurtha block, Belkhara of Karpi block and Kaler of Kaler block and one unfinanced degree college in Fatehpur Sanda of Arwal block.
With the establishment of two government colleges, there will be 6 degree colleges in the district in the coming time. Bihar government has brought an ambitious scheme to ease access to education for boys and girls in rural areas.
Even before, there has been a demand to arrange degree colleges in every block, which was completed in this budget. With the opening of degree colleges in all the blocks, especially girl students will not have to go far for higher education.
Education will be done till graduation level in all the blocks.
Now arrangements for education up to graduation level will be made in every block in the district. With this, it will become easier and more accessible for the boys and girls of these blocks to get higher education.
Earlier the students of these blocks had to go to degree colleges of other blocks. Now soon degree colleges will be opened in their block itself, this will make it easier to get higher education.
The government has an ambitious plan to open degree colleges in every block. There is a proposal to open two new degree colleges. Kalyanpur High School of Bansi Sonbhadra Block has been selected for Degree College. A building for a degree college is being considered in Arwal.
