Car And Bike Collide In Kapurthala, One Dead

Dialogue Associate, Kapurthala. There was a collision between a car and a bike on Sunday morning at the square of village Sandhu Chattha of police station Sadar. Two youths riding a bike were seriously injured in the accident. With the help of passersby, the car driver took him to Civil Hospital Kapurthala for treatment where the doctor declared the bike driver dead.

At the same time, the injured youth was discharged after first aid. The deceased was the father of two daughters and a son. The deceased has been identified as 42-year-old Gangadhar Pathak, son of Kirpa Shankar Pathak, resident of village Khanowal. Pawan Pathak, son of the deceased, told that his father used to work as a confectioner.

On Sunday morning, he was going on a bike to work in village Uggi Chitti of Jalandhar along with his friend Ram Prakash, resident of village Khanowal. When he started crossing village Sandhu Chattha Chowk, he collided with a car. The body has been kept in the hospital mortuary for post-mortem and police station Sadar has been informed regarding the accident.
