Jagran correspondent, Mirzapur. Near Samogra village of Dehat Kotwali, a car collided with a pole after hitting the divider to save a truck. In the accident, young man Varad, who was driving the car, died on the spot while four visitors including a youth from the priest family of Kaleshwar temple in Ujjain were injured. The car riders were going to Madhya Pradesh after performing darshan and worship from Varanasi.

It was told that Varad Sharma, resident of Bijli Nagar, Indore, Madhya Pradesh, Vedant Joshi, priest family of Kaleshwar temple in Ujjain, came to Indore by train along with Abhishek Yadav, his brother Amit Yadav and Saurabh. There, we boarded Abhishek's car and left for Ayodhya on 27th December. After having darshan and worship there, we left for Kashi on 29th December.

After having darshan and worship here, we were going back to Madhya Pradesh on Monday. At 9 in the morning, while trying to save the truck near Samogra of Dehat Kotwali, the vehicle went out of control and hit the divider and collided with a pole. In the incident, Varad, a resident of Bijli Nagar in Indore district, who was driving the car, died on the spot, while four youths including Vedant Joshi, a family member of the priest of Ujjain temple, were injured.

The villagers who reached the spot somehow broke the gate and took out the two injured. On receiving the information, the police called for a loader and took out other injured people from the gate and sent them to the hospital of the Medical College. Where everyone is undergoing treatment. Vedant was referred to the Trauma Center of Varanasi.
