However, the MLA has denied the allegations. After this incident, students and angry local people protested in front of his house.

This incident took place on Sunday night near Baliadanga village under Murutiya police station in Nadia district. According to sources, several Class 12 students were returning home after private tuition in Baliadanga area of ​​Murutia. At that time the MLA was also returning home after attending a party program.

It is alleged that despite the horn of the MLA's car, the students did not give way. On this the MLA allegedly got out of the car and confronted the students, where they had a heated argument. He is also accused of assaulting students.

Following this, local residents gathered in front of the MLA's house and started a protest, demanding the MLA to come out of his house and tender an unconditional apology.

The Karimpur MLA claimed that it was a conspiracy by the BJP to tarnish his image. BJP leader Gaurang Das said that students and villagers know the truth. The general public will give a befitting reply to the lies at the right time.
