Himanta Biswa Sarma gave clarification on controversial video
Digital Desk, New Delhi. Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Monday professed ignorance about the state BJP's video which sparked controversy and was later removed from its ax handle.
In this now deleted video, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma was shown aiming a rifle and firing at two people. One of them was wearing a netted cap and the other had a beard. The caption read, 'Point-blank shot.'

Speaking at a program here, the Chief Minister said that he had no knowledge of any complaint lodged by AIMIM Hyderabad President Asaduddin Owaisi with the police regarding that video.

CM said, "I don't know anything about any video." Sarma said- "If any case has been registered against me, then arrest me." I will be ready to go to jail. I will always stick to my words. I am against Bangladeshi infiltrators and will always remain so.
On the other hand, the Chief Minister of Kerala said - "The video of Assam CM is shocking, it directly instigates violence against the minority community." (With inputs from news agency PTI)
