Raj Bhavan took cognizance after the revelation of organized gang of beggars

Jagran correspondent, Hazaribagh. Raj Bhavan has taken cognizance of the entire issue after the news of Dainik Jagran's revelations about gangs of organized beggars running from Sarle Maidan situated in the middle of the city.

Receiving instructions for investigation from Raj Bhavan, the district administration has formed a team under the leadership of District Child Protection Officer and started the investigation. According to the information, the team is checking the Aadhar cards of all the people living in slums here. Information is being taken from elderly women to children. It is said that there are more than 20 children here. But, they are not ready for anything in front of the team yet.

There is not even a single local Aadhar card from Rajasthan, UP and Bihar.

Many shocking things have come to light in the investigation. When the team asked for Aadhar cards from the people living here, not even a single one had the local Aadhar card. Some had the Aadhaar code of Rajasthan, some of UP and some of Bihar. Some people had even got ration cards made.

It also came to light that the people living here always keep changing their locations and after three to four months some other team reaches here. According to the information, the Child Line team was instructed to keep an eye on their activities every day. Instructions have also been given to take strict action if suspicious activity is found.

Also, a warning has been given of strict action against any child begging. It is known that Dainik Jagran had exposed this entire racket in its January 31 issue.
