Digital Desk, New Delhi. During the budget session of Parliament, there is a lot of ruckus among the opposition MPs. Meanwhile, women MPs of BJP have made serious allegations against the opposition MPs. In this regard, these people have also written a letter to Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla.

Women MPs of BJP have written a letter to Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, appealing to him to take the strictest action under the rules against those opposition MPs who have committed heinous acts in the House premises and defamed our democratic institutions.

What did the women MPs write?

"We would like to express our deep gratitude and appreciation for the exemplary manner in which you maintained and protected the dignity, decorum and sanctity of the Lok Sabha during the discussion on the Motion of Thanks on the Address of the Honorable President on February 4, 2026. On that day, the entire House and indeed the entire country witnessed one of the most unfortunate and regrettable incidents inside the Lok Sabha Chamber," the letter read.

The letter further read, "We saw members of the opposition party not only entering the well of the House, but also climbing on the Speaker's table, tearing papers and throwing them towards the Speaker. Moreover, sadly, some honorable women members, behaving aggressively and crossed over to the other side carrying banners and placards."

'Not only surrounded the Prime Minister's seat but also...'

"She not only surrounded the Prime Minister's seat but also entered the treasury bench where senior ministers sit. Therefore, we urge you to take the strictest action possible under the rules against those opposition MPs who have committed such heinous acts in the House premises and have brought our democratic institutions into disrepute," the letter alleged.
