Case registered against former MLA Suresh Rathore and actress Urmila Sanawar alias Urmila Suresh Rathore in Dalanwala Kotwali.
Jagran Correspondent, Dehradun: Bharatiya Janata Party's national general secretary and Uttarakhand state in-charge Dushyant Kumar Gautam has filed a case against former MLA Suresh Rathore and actress Urmila Sanawar alias Urmila Suresh Rathore in Dalanwala police station.
In the complaint, both of them have been seriously accused of hatching a well-planned criminal conspiracy and circulating false and fabricated audio-videos on the internet media, tarnishing the image of BJP, senior party officials and the complainant himself, and disturbing the peace in the state. Police have started investigation in the matter.
Dushyant Kumar Gautam alleged that these audio-videos being circulated on the internet media are being said to be related to the Ankita Bhandari murder case. In which an attempt was made to deliberately defame him and other BJP leaders by taking their names and implicate them in a false case as part of a conspiracy.
According to the complaint, this entire exercise is motivated by political malice. Its objective is to disturb the atmosphere of the state by misleading the public.
It was also said in the complaint that objectionable and inflammatory language has been used in the said audio-video, due to which not only the complainant had to suffer mental torture, but the social and political reputation of BJP and its officials has also been hurt.
It is alleged that some other people associated with Congress Party, Aam Aadmi Party, Uttarakhand Kranti Dal may also be involved in this alleged conspiracy, who together have tried to create tension, disturbance and riot like situation in the state and other states.
Dushyant Kumar Gautam told the police that such misleading audio-videos are being posted and shared on different internet media platforms, thereby promoting rumours. He has called it a violation of the Indian Judicial Code as well as the provisions of the IT Act.
Defamation claim of Rs 2 crore against nine including Urmila
On behalf of the BJP National General Secretary, a defamation claim of Rs 2 crore has been filed in the Delhi High Court against nine people including Urmila Sanawar. On his behalf, an appeal has been made to the court that an attempt was made to tarnish his image through internet media and other mediums. Due to which his image is being tarnished at the national level.
A complaint has been received from BJP's National General Secretary Dushyant Kumar Gautam. On the basis of which a case has been registered in Dalanwala police station. Under the IT Act, the evidence provided by the complainant is being thoroughly investigated. Apart from this, the material available on internet media is also being reviewed.
