In homes and markets, people have completed preparations for the celebration with beautiful Christmas trees, colorful decorative items and twinkling lights. There was a lot of shopping done in the markets even a day before.
There was a lot of demand for decorative items like Christmas tree, colorful stars, balloons, bells, lighting etc. People bought beautiful decorative items as per their choice and budget. At the same time, people in the market also bought a lot of Santa dresses for children for the programs organized on Christmas Day. On the occasion of Christmas Day, a festive atmosphere will be seen in the major malls of the city, here complete preparations have been made to entertain the people. Malls are decorated with colorful lights and huge Christmas trees. At many places there will be special carnivals and at some places live music along with flea markets will make the evening special.
Games, selfie with Santa Claus and special food stalls will be the center of attraction for children. A special "Carnival of Cheer" has started on Christmas at Nexus Select Citywalk in Saket, where people will get to experience a festive wonderland. The mall has been decorated with a spectacular carousel installation in the central atrium with more than 60 themed hanging, Santa Claus and decorative items becoming the center of attraction.
A 24 feet Christmas tree has been installed in The Plaza and visitors will be able to meet Santa and take selfies with him. A DIY workshop will also be organized at the mall on Christmas.
On the other hand, a special black Christmas tree has become the center of attraction on Christmas Day in Ambience Mall, Vasant Kunj. It is based on Bidri art, a 14th century metal art originating from Bidar in Karnataka and known for its black paint and silver carvings. Special decorations have been done in The Kunj, Vasant Kunj on the occasion of Christmas Day.
