Within no time both groups of students started attacking each other with sticks, belts and iron chains. It is alleged that during this time some youths on bikes reached the spot waving illegal weapons in their hands.
Let us tell you that there has been tension for a long time regarding supremacy among the students of an inter college located in Rohta, who came out on the streets after the college holidays on Friday afternoon. Both the groups of students attacked fiercely with sticks, belts and iron chains. Meanwhile, many motorcycles parked in the market were damaged in the attack by students.
Meanwhile, some youths reached the spot on bikes waving weapons and ran away spreading panic. Later, at some distance, a group of students surrounded a student from Karnawal near Rasna Ashram and beat him up and injured him. The students had already fled before the police reached the spot on information.
Police station head Anurag Singh said that the police had reached the spot on information about the fight. Based on the footage of nearby CCTV cameras, the attackers will be identified and action will be taken.
