Jagran correspondent, Faridabad. Chief Minister Naib Saini has given approval for building an elevated flyover from Ballabhgarh to Pali. This flyover, to be built at a cost of Rs 500 crore, will provide relief to thousands of drivers from the jam. This flyover will be built at PPP mode. On Wednesday, on the question of NIT MLA Satish Fagna, Public Works Minister Ranveer Gangwa gave information in the Assembly regarding the construction of the flyover.
Length of elevated flyover will be 8.2 kilometers
The total length of the elevated flyover going from Ballabhgarh to Pali will be 8.2 kilometers. Along with this, provision for two more seven meter wide service roads has also been made. This corridor will be developed on Ballabhgarh, Pali Dhauj and Sohna Road. A private agency will be hired by the Public Works Department to prepare the DPR of this project. The government has sanctioned Rs 105.37 lakh for preparing the DPR.
There is a lot of traffic in the morning and evening
There is heavy traffic jam from Ballabhgarh to Sohna in the morning and evening. Many types of industries are built on this road. In the evening, there is heavy traffic jam at Sector-23 turn, Sanjay Colony turn and Sarurpur Chowk. Because the employees and heavy vehicles coming out of the industry go to Gurugram through this route.
Along with this, vehicles coming from Ballabhgarh flyover also go towards Hardware Chowk via Sohna Road. Big vehicles often got stuck in traffic jams. Many hospitals are also built on Sohna Road. Traffic policemen also had to sweat a lot to clear the jam. Now, with the construction of the flyover, people of Sanjay Colony, Sector-22,23, Sector-55, Jeevan Nagar, Gauchi, Sarurpur and Pali village will get a lot of relief.
The flyover was approved by the Chief Minister. Now its DPR will be prepared. Efforts will be made that the flyover work will be started this year itself. So that people can get relief as soon as possible. - Satish Fagna, MLA, NIT assembly constituency
