CM Dhami Announced In Rudraprayag, Basukedar Tehsil Will Get Its Own Building.

Communication partner, Rudraprayag. Basukedar tehsil in Rudraprayag has again got its hope of getting its own building. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, who arrived at Maa Chandika Mahavanyath Devra Yatra organized in village Biron Deval of Agastyamuni development block, announced the construction of a new building in the tehsil.

He also assured to get the Maa Chandika temple courtyard and temple group rebuilt through the Archeology Department and to conduct tests to upgrade Lata Baba Vidyalaya to Intermediate level. The Chief Minister reached Maa Chandika temple and offered sacrifice in the Mahayagya amidst chanting of Vedic mantras and prayed for the happiness and prosperity of the state. On this occasion, in the public meeting, the Chief Minister said that this Mahayagya organized after 20 years is not just a religious event but a symbol of cultural renaissance.

He said that visiting the places of worship is a divine call and such events strengthen harmony, unity and connection with traditions in the society.

He said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the country is establishing new dimensions of development and important work is being done to preserve the Sanatan culture.

Referring to the reconstruction of Kedarnath temple after the disaster of 2013, he described the concept of 'divine and grand Kedar' as the embodiment of it. The Chief Minister said that the state government is committed to protecting the cultural identity of Devbhoomi.

On this occasion, MLA Asha Nautiyal, Bharat Chaudhary, District Panchayat President Poonam Kathait, Vice President Ritu Negi, Block Chief Bhuvaneshwari Devi, BKTC Vice President Vijay Kapravan, Women Commission Vice President Aishwarya Rawat, BJP District President Bharat Bhushan Bhatt, Mahayagya Committee President Dr. Ashutosh Bhandari, District Magistrate Vishal Mishra, Superintendent of Police Niharika Tomar etc. were present.

The journey will conclude on 24th February

Maa Chandika's Diwara Yatra started on 21 November 2025. This yatra is visiting 26 villages. A nine-day Mahayagya is going on in Biron Deval from 15th February. The yatra will conclude with a huge voyage on 22 February and Purnahuti on 24 February 2026.
