On the second day of the World Economic Forum meeting, Jharkhand marked its strong presence in the global dialogues related to energy production, consumption and sustainable development and regional leadership under the leadership of Chief Minister Hemant Soren, who participated in several important discussions with international policy makers, investors and global organizations.

The Chief Minister's address at the Inter Ministerial Dialogue was particularly noteworthy. The session was attended by many global leaders including Vazil Hudak, former Minister of Finance and Economy of Slovakia. The main topic of discussion was strengthening the global cooperation framework for sustainable and inclusive economic growth.

During the dialogue, topics like renewable energy, possibilities of investment in heavy vehicle manufacturing and adoption of sustainable practices in the horticulture sector were also discussed in depth. The Chief Minister also participated in a discussion on Capital in Action: Scaling Energy Systems through Policy, Finance and Regional Leadership. The discussion emphasized the need for expansion of clean energy systems, innovation-based financing and effective policy coordination.

Role of states is very important

Chief Minister Hemant Soren said that the role of states is very important in implementing the climate and sustainability goals set at the global level at the ground level. He highlighted Jharkhand's efforts to balance industrial growth with environmental responsibility, promote employment generation and strengthen regional economic strength.

This active participation of Jharkhand in Davos reflects the state's commitment towards clean energy, sustainable industrialization and inclusive growth. Jharkhand is moving strongly towards future-oriented, balanced and sustainable development through continuous dialogue and partnership on global platforms.
