Communication Assistant, Adapur (East Champaran). CO RO Mass Leave: On the call of Bihar Revenue Service Association, Circle Officer (CO) and Revenue Officer (RO) are going on mass leave from February 2. Due to this, the daily work in the zonal offices is likely to be badly affected.

Due to CO and RO going on leave, work related to making caste, residential and income certificates, filing-rejecting, refinement and other revenue related works will be pending. This will have a direct impact on students, farmers and common citizens, who need these certificates for various schemes and studies.

According to the information, no concrete decision has been taken yet by the state government on the demands of the revenue service officers. Due to this there is deep dissatisfaction among the officials. In protest against this, Bihar Revenue Service Association has decided to start a phased movement.

According to the union, the movement will be started with a mass holiday. This movement will continue until a positive decision is taken on their demands.

CO Anamika Singh expressed her organizational commitment towards the decision of the union and said that the rights and service conditions of Revenue Service officers are being continuously ignored, which is not acceptable. He clarified that until a just decision is taken, the collective decision of the union will remain effective.

With administrative officers going on mass leave, the general public may have to wait a long time for revenue works in the coming days, due to which people's problems are likely to increase further.
