On Saturday, the maximum temperature was recorded at 14.7 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature was 5.5 degrees Celsius. According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of cloud cover and fog on Sunday. The effect of cold wave can be felt in the morning and evening.

The department has advised citizens to be alert about cold and low visibility. The effect of changing weather patterns is also visible on the local market. A slight increase in prices was recorded due to increase in demand for vegetables and fruits. At the same time, an increase was seen in the purchase of hot beverages and essential items to protect from cold. AQI 236 was recorded on Saturday.
