Jagran correspondent, Gorakhpur. A serious case of fraud worth crores of rupees in the name of gold trading has come to light. TRX Trading Gold Private Limited is accused of extorting crores of rupees from hundreds of investors by luring them with assured profit of two to four percent per month and now the company management has absconded after closing its office. On the orders of SSP, Ramgarhtal police station has registered a case against the operators and started investigation.
According to the victims, the office of TRX Trading Gold Private Limited was being operated in the HDFC Bank building near Bhagat Square on Deoria Bypass Road. The company was jointly run by Ashok Kumar Sharma (Managing Director) of Ramkola Lala Chapra of Kushinagar, Rani Sharma (Director), Jitendra Sharma, Paras Nath Sharma and Anil Sharma of Kheraat Banjaria of Deoria.
It is alleged that in the name of buying, selling and trading of gold products, the company management declared the investment completely safe and assured assured profits. Hundreds of people from Gorakhpur, Deoria and surrounding districts were made to invest crores of rupees by luring investors by giving two to four percent returns every month.
In the beginning, some investors were also given partial benefits on time, which strengthened people's confidence and the amount of investment kept increasing. The victims say that the company's office has been closed for the last three months. During this time, the company management kept giving assurances of returning the money along with benefits week after week, but now the situation is that the mobile numbers of all the directors and responsible people are switched off or calls are not being received.

When the investors reached the office, they found it locked. The victims of fraud include Ajit Yadav, Arun Kumar Singh, Chandrashekhar Rai, Sangam Paswan, Anand Dwivedi, Dilip Kumar Tiwari, Vrindavan Sharma, Brijesh Kumar, Vivek Kumar Nishad, Hemant Kumar, Chhanne Lal, Virendra Kumar Sharma, Parmeshwar Kumar Gupta, Virendra Kumar Gupta, Indu Devi, Ram Kumar Aggarwal, Shashi Kapoor, Rahul Yadav, Rambadan Yadav, Rajesh Kumar. CO Cantt Yogendra Singh said that the allegation is being investigated. Action will be taken on the basis of evidence.
