Jagran correspondent, Khatima. Out of the four teachers appointed in Junior High School Sadasadia, one teacher remains on leave by rotation. In this, one comes to school and the other goes on leave. This sequence has been going on continuously for the last two months. It is surprising that the senior departmental officials were not even aware of this till now.

The matter came to light when the SDM conducted a surprise inspection of the school on Thursday. On this, the SDM directed to inform the Chief Education Officer for necessary action. At the same time, a teacher was found posted privately in primary school Sadasadiya, for whose investigation the SDM directed the Block Education Officer.

SDM Tushar Saini along with Tehsildar Virendra Singh Sajwan first reached Junior High School on Thursday, where he checked the attendance register of teachers, which revealed that three out of four teachers posted in the school remain on duty, while one teacher is on medical leave. All four teachers were taking medical leave one by one.

In this, one teacher would come and the other would go on leave. This sequence was going on for the last two months. On this, the SDM gave instructions to inform the Chief Education Officer for necessary action. After this the SDM reached the primary school, where it was found that a teacher had been appointed privately in the school. At what expense is she hired and by whom is her salary paid and on what basis? The Block Education Officer was directed to investigate this.

Defects found in Anganwadi center also, instructions to repair it

Khatima: The SDM also inspected the Anganwadi centre, where investigation revealed that the menu for the food items given daily was not prepared. The SDM also directed to set up the menu, pay special attention to cleanliness in the mid-day meal kitchen, and distribute the nutritious food available in the Anganwadi center as soon as possible. SDM said that if nutritious food is not distributed on time, it will expire.
