Conservation Of Culture And Heritage, Flag Of Religious Tourism Flies High Again In UP Budget

State Bureau, Lucknow. The special culture and character for which the Yogi government is known was fully reflected in the budget.

In this budget presented before the election year, the government has made an effort to keep the flag of Sanatan Dharma high and has reiterated its resolve to boost tourism at religious places.

On this pretext, the government has also given political signals while keeping the edge of Hindutva sharp. In the budget, a budget of Rs 200 crore has been ensured for the circumambulation of Maa Vindhyavasini Temple, Maa Ashtabhuja Temple, Maa Kali Khoh Temple and public facilities.

A budget of Rs 100 crore has been allocated for the restoration of protected temples. For the Yogi government, every effort is being made to attract and inspire devotees towards Ayodhya, which is said to be a symbol of prestige and dignity.

A provision of Rs 150 crore has been made by Tirtha Vikas Parishad to promote tourism in Ayodhya area. Similarly, Naimisharanya Teerth Vikas Parishad has been given a budget of Rs 100 crore. There is also focus on decorating Braj, which has emerged as a power place of Hindutva and Sanatan.

Braj Teerth Vikas Parishad has also been given budget and efforts have been made to increase the facilities for the devotees. Keeping in mind the convenience of tourists and devotees, an arrangement of Rs 100 crore each has been made in Vindhyavasini Dham and Varanasi.

Tourism and Culture Minister Jaiveer Singh said that a total provision of Rs 500 crore has been made under the Chief Minister Tourism Scheme. The number of tourists has increased everywhere from Ayodhya, Varanasi, Prayagraj, Mathura to Chitrakoot. The budget will give more power to tourist management.

The effort is to ensure that tourists stay at these places for a week. Provision has been made in the budget to waive the license fee for women guide training. Five hundred new homestays will be built. The government has carried forward the tradition of heritage conservation and respect for national personalities.
