The deadline for signing contracts under emergency procurement powers was 19 November. These powers were given to the defense forces after Operation Sindoor so that they could prepare for future conflicts.
According to defense sources, this proposal was approved in the DAC meeting in the Defense Ministry on Friday. It was also told that the DAC will meet again on Monday to discuss several major proposals to strengthen military capabilities.
