Only if the police is able to file a chargesheet on the basis of facts, the SIT will be able to extradite the alleged smuggling kingpin Shubham from Dubai.

On the advice of experts, the police met the accused businessmen and served them notices and asked them to reply and if the facts become strong, they will be acquitted of the charges.

Kashi Zone Deputy Commissioner of Police Gaurav Banswal said that the police will not harass the traders in any way. Since the pharmaceutical department has made Shubham and Bhola Prasad accused in cough syrup smuggling along with the traders of 38 firms in Tahrir, notices have been served to each drug trader to complete the investigation at a faster pace.

Documents related to the allegations have been asked from him. The investigation will be completed in two to three days. If the allegations are not found to be true, their names will be revealed. Said that traders have been told to work as per rules.
