In Lalpur Karauta village on Friday morning, bodies of a boy and a girl were found hanging under suspicious circumstances with the help of a scarf from a guava tree inside a closed house. The police have taken both the bodies into their custody and sent them for post-mortem. Prima facie the case is being considered a suicide, however investigation is ongoing on various aspects.
There was a sensation when the dead bodies of a young man and a girl were found hanging from a guava tree with the help of a scarf at around 10 am on Friday morning inside a closed house located in Lalpur Karauta village of Mohammadpur Khala. It is said that Maroof's house is behind the rice mill, where his family has been living in Barabanki city for the last 20 years and the house is lying closed.
On Friday morning, someone informed the police about the bodies of a boy and a girl hanging from a leaning guava tree in the house complex. The deceased have been identified as 22-year-old Hasnain, resident of Daswantpur village, and Siba, resident of Lalpur village. Both were missing since around 4 pm on Thursday evening. The family members were searching, but no trace of him was found.
According to the villagers, there is talk of a love affair between the two. It is also being said that the girl's family was not ready for marriage. However, both the families have not made any allegations against each other.
Various types of discussions took place among the villagers when the tree at the incident site was seen bent and the feet of both of them were seen touching the ground. Some people are calling it suicide, while others are suspecting murder and hanging the body.
Inspector in-charge Ashutosh Mishra said that prima facie the case appears to be a suicide. Police is investigating all aspects. The situation will become clear only after the post mortem report comes. He also told that both of them were under mental stress. At present, the police is engaged in a thorough investigation of the case and the people nearby are being interrogated.

The death of the loving couple in Lalpur Karauta remained a mystery. Left behind many complicated questions. To which no one has the answer. After the death, after the scarf cut from the mouth of the people, blades and knives were said, how did the bodies of the couple reach inside the closed room, how did two dead bodies keep hanging in the thin branch of guava with their feet touching the ground.
There was a discussion among the local villagers about how the boy's family members saw him hanging after seeing the high wall all around, and many other questions including how the latch on the main door was attached from outside were heard among the local villagers.
