Jagran correspondent, Jhajjar. The body of a person who went missing from home under suspicious circumstances six days ago was found lying in the fields between Jahazgarh and Khatiwas villages. The dead body has been completely torn to pieces by animals. One hand and one leg have been completely eaten away by animals.
When a passerby saw a dead body lying in the fields, he informed the police and villagers. After this, when the police reached the spot and tried to identify him, the deceased was identified as Devi Ram, son of Balveer Singh, resident of MP Majra village. Who was currently living in Khatiwas village for many years. Police also called the FSL team to the spot and collected evidence from the spot.
Keeping every aspect of the case in mind, the police has started investigation. It is being told that Devi Ram used to distribute newspapers earlier and now after both his sons got jobs, he left this work and stayed at home.
It is being told that on February 17, he suddenly went missing under suspicious circumstances and a search for him was started. His missing report was lodged at the police station by his family members. The police have taken the body into custody and sent it to the hospital for post-mortem.
Police from two police stations reached the spot
When the police was informed about the matter, Beri police station in-charge Vikas and Dujana police station in-charge reached the spot. Due to Khatiwas area being in Dujana police station, the missing report was lodged there, while since the incident site was in Beri area, Beri police also reached the spot.
The cause of death will be revealed after the viscera report comes.
