Jagran correspondent, Greater Noida. The body of a young man who fell under suspicious circumstances from the 19th floor of Paramount Society of Surajpur Kotwali area has been found in the balcony of the second floor flat. The young man had come to his friend's flat just two days ago.
Police say that prima facie the youth appears to have committed suicide by jumping. CCTV footage around the incident site is being scrutinized. Four friends have been detained for questioning.
Manish (20), son of Leele, originally resident of village Nizampur under Sikandrabad Kotwali of Bulandshahr, was a security guard in a security agency. It is being told that on Tuesday he had come to a friend living in a flat on the 19th floor of Tower O of Paramount Society.
His body was found lying in the balcony of the second floor flat at around 8 am on Thursday. The police arrived on the information of the flat owner and took the body into custody and sent it for post-mortem. There is a discussion among the society residents regarding the incident that there was a party between four to five friends in the night.
The young man died after falling under suspicious circumstances late at night. It is suspected that the young man fell due to intoxication or was thrown after a dispute with friends over some issue or committed suicide by jumping.
Inspector in-charge Vinod Kumar said that the youth's relatives have been informed. CCTV footage is being scrutinized. The student's friends are being questioned regarding the incident. Further action is being taken once the cause of death becomes clear in the post-mortem report.
