Jagran correspondent, Loni. Bike riding attackers shot dead the son of a dairy owner near Alvi Nagar Fatima Masjid in Ankur Vihar police station area. After committing the crime, the attackers fled on the bike. Five old cases including theft were registered against the deceased. Police have sent the body for post-mortem and are investigating.
Shivam alias Lala (19), a resident of Dhundhera, Baghpat, lived near DLF Ankur Vihar Water Plant with his mother Sanju Devi, sister Dolly and younger brother Laddu. His father Sunil died of paralysis two years ago. His mother Sanju supports the family by running a dairy farm. Late Thursday evening, Shivam had gone to meet Aftab at the factory of furniture businessman Khalid.
It is being told that three youths riding a bike came and shot Shivam. He fell down bleeding due to two bullets. The sound of gunshots spread panic in the area. The attackers fled after committing the crime. After receiving the information, the police reached the spot and admitted the injured to a 50-bed hospital, where the doctor declared him dead after examination.
ACP Ankur Vihar Gyan Prakash Rai said that the police is investigating the case by sending the body for post-mortem and examining the CCTV footage. Earlier too, five cases including theft were registered against the deceased. Of these, three theft cases are from Arnia and Khurja of Bulandshahr. Two cases are from Ankur Vihar. Police is also investigating from other angles including rivalry. The police team has collected evidence from the spot and CCTV footage is being extracted.
