Jagran correspondent, Hisar. The effect of continuous snowfall in the mountains is now clearly visible in the plains. Due to cold winds, a huge drop in day and night temperatures has been recorded in the state, due to which the severe cold has returned once again. Rain and strong winds in the last two days have dropped the temperature rapidly.
According to meteorologists, due to the activation of a new western disturbance, there is a possibility of drizzle or light rain again in many parts of the state from January 27. Meanwhile, Hisar was the coldest district of the state on Friday night, where the minimum temperature was recorded at 1.6 degrees Celsius.

After rain and hailstorm across the state on Friday, there was severe cold and cold wave in the district on Saturday morning. Due to the severe cold, there was frost in the fields of village Baropal due to which drops of dew froze on the sapota plants.

Weather will remain changeable till January 29
According to Dr. Madan Khichad, Head of the Department of Agricultural Meteorology, Haryana Agricultural University, the weather in the state is generally likely to remain changeable till January 29. Due to the partial effect of western disturbance, there will be partly cloudy sky on 27th and 28th January and there may be drizzle or light rain at some places. During this period, there is a possibility of light to moderate cold winds.
Temperature dropped by 10 to 12 degrees
According to the India Meteorological Department, after the rain on Thursday night and Friday, the temperature has dropped by 10 to 12 degrees Celsius. Earlier the day temperature had reached 25 degrees and the night temperature had reached 14 degrees. Apart from Hisar, the minimum temperature in Narnaul, Bhiwani, Mahendragarh, Sirsa and Sonipat remained around 2 to 3 degrees Celsius.
