On Monday night, there was an argument between the mess employee and his colleagues regarding coupons, which escalated into an uproar.
It is alleged that during this period the coupon booklet was taken away, after which the students protested. Students were seen raising slogans in a video viral on social media. However, Aryan Mann dismissed the allegations, saying that it was a minor argument and his security personnel were not involved in any clash.
He said that the student union officials have been allotted rooms with the permission of the Vice-Chancellor and they are living there legally. According to him, the security personnel do not stay inside the hostel, but in the vehicle. He described the entire episode as politically motivated.
