Jagran correspondent, Dhanbad. A tragic accident took place at Jarangdih railway station of Dhanbad railway division on Monday night. While boarding the goods train, the guard fell on the track after his feet slipped and the wheel of the train passed over him. His thigh was cut in the accident and he was seriously injured and was lying near the track.
The eyes of the railway workers passing by fell on the side of the track. When examined in torchlight, they were found in a pool of blood. This was immediately informed to the control room. After this, the railway personnel hurriedly took him to Dhanbad Divisional Railway Hospital. After investigation there, the doctors declared him dead.
The deceased has been identified as Siddiq Ansari. According to railway workers, his headquarters was in Chandrapura and he was a resident of Madhupur. There is a wave of mourning in the Railway Board after the incident. Information about the matter has been given to the concerned authorities.
