Delhi Weather: Relief From Fog, But Melting Continues, Alert Of Dense Fog In Next 2-3 Days

Dense fog likely at some places in next two-three days.

State Bureau, New Delhi. There was respite from fog in the capital on Monday due to the effect of strong winds, but cold and humidity persisted. Even the bright sunshine during the day did not reduce the coolness. The period of falling temperature is also going on. The maximum temperature in the national capital on Monday was 18.0 degrees Celsius, which was 1.3 degrees below normal. While the minimum temperature was recorded at 6.6 degrees Celsius, which was 0.3 degrees below normal. The humidity level in the air was recorded from 100 to 61 percent. The Meteorological Department has predicted that there may be light fog at some places on Tuesday morning. There will be sky during the day. The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to be 19 and seven degrees Celsius respectively. A weather department official said, "No significant fog was observed on Monday. However, in the next two-three days, dense fog may occur at some places and moderate fog at many places. The minimum temperature is likely to drop after the western disturbance goes away. It may remain between six to eight degrees Celsius during the next five days."
