Nuh Police has registered an FIR against YouTuber Hansi Khan for making derogatory remarks against Scheduled Castes.
Jagran correspondent, Nuh. Police have registered an FIR against a YouTuber who had come into controversy for making derogatory remarks against Scheduled Castes. It is alleged that the YouTuber had made objectionable comments with the intention of humiliating the entire community. Police has started the investigation of the matter.
Punhana's social media YouTuber Hansi Khan had posted a video a few days ago about filling CNG in her car. He also posted this video on his Facebook and YouTube accounts. The video contained indecent and objectionable comments against Scheduled Castes. When the video went viral, it was widely criticized.
Meanwhile, Rohit, a resident of Ward 8 of Punhana, lodged a complaint at the city police station demanding action against the YouTuber. In his complaint, Rohit alleged that the YouTuber has tried to defame and humiliate the entire community. She said she was hurt by his comments. Punhana police registered an FIR based on his complaint and started investigation.
Police said that action is being taken as per the rules. On the other hand, YouTuber apologized on his social networking account. She posted a video saying that she had no intention of making derogatory remarks against the Scheduled Caste community and the words had come out unintentionally.
