Former Jharia MLA Sanjeev Singh is also contesting the elections. According to the affidavit he is literate. His wife Ragini Singh is BJP MLA from Jharia. He is the son of the famous Jharia MLA, late Surajdev Singh. His house Singh Mansion has its own influence in the politics of Dhanbad.
