Jagran correspondent, Dhanbad. Preparations for transport arrangements for Dhanbad Municipal Corporation elections have been started. More than 850 vehicles of different types will be deployed for election work. The vehicle cell will also determine the daily fare for these vehicles. All the vehicles used for election duty will be deposited at Randhir Verma Stadium on 21st and 22nd February.
The District Transport Officer is issuing necessary instructions to all concerned school managements, vehicle owners and transporters and is also holding regular meetings with them. Two days ago, the DTO held a meeting with the Educated Unemployed School Forest Operations Association and sought cooperation. During the meeting, District School Van Association President Ramayan Singh assured cooperation.
Vehicle repository office will be built in Randhir Verma Stadium
Bus, mini bus, car, jeep, truck, auto, tempo, bike, cycle and electric vehicles will be used in election work. A special office has been created at Randhir Verma Stadium for signing and verification of vehicles. This office will start functioning from Friday.
From this place, polling personnel, sector magistrate, police force and other election related personnel will be sent to the polling stations. These vehicles will also be used for safe transportation of EVMs and other election materials.
Passenger bus rates based on seat capacity
The rates of passenger buses have been decided on the basis of their seat capacity. For a bus with 49 or more seats, Rs 3530 per day will be paid, for a bus with 33 to 48 seats, Rs 2980 and for a bus with 23 to 32 seats, Rs 2520 will be paid per day. The rate for a mini bus with 14 to 22 seats will be Rs 1800 and for a mini bus with eight to 13 seats, the rate will be Rs 800 to 1400 per day. Is. Different rates have been fixed for cars, jeeps and other light vehicles.
The daily fare for air-conditioned vehicles like Ertiga, Centro, Indica, Winger and Ford has been fixed at Rs 1340 and for non-AC vehicles at Rs 1170. For vehicles like Ascent Sienna and Xylo, the price has been fixed at Rs 1470 for AC and Rs 1280 for non-AC. For Innova, you will get Rs 1520 per day with AC and Rs 1340 without AC. For Swift and Indigo, the price has been fixed at Rs 1340 for AC and Rs 1220 for non-AC. The rate of Rs 1470 per day will be applicable for vehicles like Scorpio, Tata Safari, Tavera, Chevrolet, Beat and Verna.
Two-wheeler, three-wheeler and electric vehicles also included
Two-wheelers and three-wheelers have also been included in the election work. Rs 620 per day will be paid for auto rickshaw, Rs 250 for motorcycle and scooter and Rs 50 per day for cycle. This time electric vehicles have also been included prominently in the election work.
For Mahindra XUV400 EV, Tata Nexon EV and Tata Tigor EV, Rs 1470 will be given per day with AC and Rs 1280 without AC. For Tata Punch EV and Tata Tiago EV, the price has been fixed at Rs 1340 for AC and Rs 1170 for non-AC. Electric autos will be paid Rs 620 and e-rickshaws and e-carts will be paid Rs 400 per day.
