Tragic Accident In Prayagraj: Woman Riding A Bike Fell On The Road After Her Mask Got Stuck In The Truck, Died On The Spot.

Samvad Sutra, Jagran Prayagraj. A woman lost her life in a tragic road accident on Thursday afternoon in front of Sub Mandi site on Prayagraj Gorakhpur National Highway in Phulpur Kotwali area, while her brother who was riding a bike was injured. In this tragic incident, both the children riding the bike survived safely.

35-year-old Tabassum Begum, resident of Ansar Nagar Mohalla of Phulpur town, along with her brother Akhtar and two daughters, was returning to her home in Phulpur after taking medicines from Prayagraj city on a bike. At around 3 o'clock in the afternoon, when his bike reached in front of Phulpur sub-market, Tabassum's mask got stuck in the truck coming from behind carrying gas cylinders.

Due to this the bike became uncontrolled. Tabassum, who was sitting behind, fell on the road and came under the wheels of the truck. He was crushed to death.

Due to the bike becoming unbalanced, Akhtar and both the children along with the bike fell on the left side of the road. Akhtar suffered minor injuries while both the girls remained safe. After the accident, people present nearby immediately took the injured to Community Health Center Phulpur, where doctors declared Tabassum dead.

It was told that Tabassum was married to Mohammad Jamil, a resident of Kusugur Garapur of Thana Tharwai area. Jameel lives in Saudi Arabia and works in a salon. Tabassum had come to her maternal home about a week ago. As soon as the information about the incident was received, the family members reached the CHC, where after seeing the dead body, they started crying badly.

IFFCO outpost in-charge Suryaprakash Singh, who reached the spot after receiving information about the accident, sent the body for post-mortem. After the accident, the driver left the truck and fled. The police have filed a case and are searching for the accused driver.
