Was not given entry in Mahakal temple, now Asad Khan returned home and became Atharva Tyagi (Photo- JNN)
JNN, Sagar. Despite being from a Muslim family, Asad Khan has deep faith in Bajrang Bali. He is also a devotee of Shiva. Asad tells that he had recently gone to Ujjain to have darshan of Lord Mahakal, but could not have darshan due to being recognized by some people. Since then he was hurt.
He had decided to return to Sanatan. On Monday, Asad returned to Sanatan Dharma in Varanasi. Asad was returned home amidst chanting of mantras by 21 Brahmins on a boat in the middle of Ganga. He became Atharva after the purification process.
Asad had contacted the Brahmins of Kashi through internet media for his homecoming rituals. Alok Yogi, who conducted the ritual of Asad's homecoming, said that first Asad was purified. After that, after performing puja, the process of his return home was completed and he was named. He was given the new name Atharva Tyagi.
Atharva told that he is an engineer. He is a resident of Sagar district of Madhya Pradesh. He told that since childhood, he used to go to temples and worship, but after growing up, due to his name being Asad, he started having trouble in going to temples. His heart is deeply hurt by the violence against Hindus in Bangladesh.
