Jagran correspondent, Muzaffarpur. Revenue records are now available online only. The old system has been abolished, in which after cutting the paper, a copy was available after visiting the office for several days.
To ensure that land owners do not face any problem, the Revenue and Land Reforms Department has started an online system, but now many types of problems are being faced in it. Many people have submitted a memorandum to the DM regarding this and have requested for availability of records online as well as offline.
Ratnesh Kumar, among those who submitted the memorandum, said that there is a lack of clarity in the online records. Apart from this, there is difficulty in obtaining the old records which have not been scanned.
Very old Revenue Court records, which have not been scanned, are also not available. Apart from this, the ownership distribution, Register A and the old filed rejection file of 1956 are also not available. There are many such records, which are required to submit evidence in the case in the court.
There is also lack of availability of this. There has been a demand for offline availability regarding this. Those who submitted the memorandum included Animesh Prasad, Om Prakash, Ramji Singh, Santosh Kumar, Rakesh Kumar, Sanjay Kumar, Amarendra Kumar and Awadhesh.
