Rakesh Kumar, resident of Bijli Bamba bypass of Partapur police station area, told that he had taken a taxi to Hapur on Tuesday night. When he was returning around 12 o'clock in the night, there was dense fog on the road. When he reached Kharkhoda bypass, his car collided with a car parked in the middle of the road. Even before that, many vehicles had collided with this car.
He picked up the young man present in the car along with other drivers. The young man was under the influence of alcohol and introduced himself as Pravesh Kumar, a constable of UP Police. The allegation is also that when the drivers asked him to remove the vehicle from the road, he flaunted his uniform. Rakesh Kumar gave information to Dial-112. The policemen who came from here brought both the vehicles to the police station. Inspector Rajpal Singh said that an agreement was reached between the two parties in the night itself. It has not been confirmed that the policeman was drunk. Investigation is being done.
