Jagran correspondent, New Delhi. In view of the ongoing AI impact in Bharat Mandapam, special traffic arrangements have been made in the capital today i.e. on Wednesday evening. During this period, in view of the VVIP movement, there will be traffic ban and diversion on many nearby main roads from 4 pm to 10 pm.
Traffic will remain affected in these areas
According to the traffic police, traffic will be affected on Sardar Patel Marg, Mother Teresa Crescent, Teen Murti Marg, Akbar Road, Janpath, Windsor Place, Tees January Marg, Prithvi Raj Road, Rajesh Pilot Marg, Subrahmanyam Bharti Marg, Mathura Road (between Lodhi Flyover and Dr. Dinesh Chandra Dalmia/Bhairon Marg), Shanti Path, Africa Avenue, Satya Marg and Dr. Zakir Hussain Marg.
People traveling in vehicles have been advised to use other routes. The suggested routes include San Martin Marg, Panchsheel Marg, APJ Abdul Kalam Marg, Kamal Ataturk Marg, Aurobindo Marg, Lodhi Road, South Avenue Road, Vande Mataram Marg, Barapula Road, Ring Road, Tilak Marg, Ferozshah Road, Rafi Marg, Parliament Marg and K. Kamaraj Marg is included.
The traffic police has appealed to the common people to plan their journey in advance, allow extra time and avoid the affected routes. Follow the instructions of the traffic staff on duty and maintain lane discipline.
