Jagran correspondent, Karnal. An elderly person riding an Activa was hit by a car driver near Narsi Village. Due to which the elderly person riding the Activa got seriously injured and when he was admitted to the hospital, he died. The police have taken the body into custody, conducted post-mortem and handed it over to the relatives.
65-year-old Surajpal, resident of Sector-32, was going towards home on Activa on Tuesday evening. When he reached near Narsi Village, a speeding car coming from behind hit his Activa hard.
The collision was so strong that Surajpal fell on the road and got seriously injured. With the help of people, injured Surajpal was immediately admitted to the hospital.
Doctors started his treatment, but his life could not be saved as his condition was very serious. Bhagat Singh, brother of the deceased, told that two youths were traveling in the car which collided. Surajpal is survived by his wife, daughter-in-law and a granddaughter. His son had died many years ago.
