Islamic calendar completes one seasonal cycle in 3 years

Ramadan is the ninth month of the Islamic calendar. The dates of Ramadan are determined by the Islamic calendar. Which is a Hijri lunar calendar consisting of 12 lunar months. Every month begins with the sighting of the crescent moon. The lunar month is 29 or 30 days long, making the lunar year approximately 354 days.

In such a situation, the Gregorian year based on solar calculations becomes shorter by 10 to 12 days. Due to this difference, Ramadan starts earlier each year in the Gregorian calendar and completes the seasonal cycle once every 33 years.

Holi will be celebrated in the middle of Ramadan for two consecutive years

The festival of colors will be celebrated in the month of Ramadan for two consecutive years in 2057 and 2058. The estimated duration of the month of Ramadan in 2057 is between March 4 and April 5. Similarly, in 2058, the period of Ramadan is between 22 February to 25 March. In 2057, Holi will be celebrated on March 20 and in 2058, Holi will be celebrated on March 9.
